Los Búngalos de Santa Ana is the ideal destination for an unforgettable vacation any time of year. It’s located 20 km from Tarapoto, just a 5-hour drive from your doorstep in Lima, and you don’t have to worry about how to get there (we’ll take care of it). Our rustic yet modern bungalows are tucked away in the village of Santa Ana, far from the chaos of the city and just a 1-minute walk from the Mayo River. A place surrounded by lush nature and friendly people.

We have the best bungalows in Tarapoto—hard to categorize but definitely one-of-a-kind. Spend a few unforgettable days in the heart of nature.

1 fully equipped bungalow so you’ll feel right at home—but with a pool. (Maximum 4 people per bungalow):
1 bedroom with a king-size bed and air conditioning.

When you come to Los Búngalos de Santa Ana, you can do everything on your own or let us take care of it for you, so that when you arrive—just 45 minutes from the airport—you won’t have to worry about food, beer, snacks, or anything else: just arrive 5 hours after you left home. In other words, when you arrive, everything will be right at your fingertips. And on your way back, you’ll also be just 5 hours from your front door in Lima. From the Santa Ana Bungalows, you’ll be 1 hour from the Tarapoto airport—or, on average, 2 hours from the time you leave Lima or your plane takes off for the return flight.

You can relax every day in the absolute tranquility of the jungle or plan whatever activities you’d like; we recommend at least the canoeing/rafting trip—they’ll pick you up just a 7-minute walk away, and after about 2.5 hours, they’ll drop you off at the same spot, or better yet, if conditions allow, they’ll drop you off on the riverbank just 2 minutes from Los Búngalos de Santa Ana.

If you decide to do your own shopping, you can do so at any of the hypermarkets in Tarapoto (you’ll find everything you could possibly need), order online and pick it up upon arrival, or ask us to pick it up for you and put it away on the shelves and in the refrigerator. You can also ask us to take care of buying whatever you’ll need; we’ll charge you the price listed on the voucher plus a small additional fee for the service.

If you’re the type of person who wants to do as little as possible, there’s a restaurant (Puerto Mayo) just a 10-minute ride away by motokar that serves delicious dishes and offers delivery at the same prices listed on their menu—and they don’t charge extra to deliver to the Santa Ana Bungalows. Just keep in mind that they’re open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. If you ever order delivery, we recommend trying the regional basket of stuffed patacones.
