Convenient place to stay at a great value for money!

Very friendly and caring owner. Discrete when everything is going smoothly, allowing you to freely enjoy the property but professional and always at a quick phone call reach when you need something. Offering great value for money accommodation in the area. Throughout the years Nice living has become my default goto place in Coventry during my business visits there. The property offers all the benefits of living at a fully functional house with kitchen, bathrooms, sitting room, dining table etc and a spacious room with a nice big bed, a desk where you can conveniently work on your laptop or writing and wardrobe for your clothes and items. Towels and all basic conveniences for the bathroom are available. The property is very conveniently located in proximity to the city centre and the university, as well as routes to the motorway. There is usually parking available in the streets around the property.

The door was a bit glitchy but with a phone call we managed to fix that.

The acces code for to enter the property not working. When i call them, they don't pick the call.

The room was not the one advertised ! Just enough room for a double bed. No TV room as advertised.no tea or coffee in room as advertised,and not even a plug socket.No towels or shower gel either

Location was good - the property was tired and unloved, lightbulbs missing, Kitchen evidence of waterlogged floor. You certainly would want to eat or drink from this kitchen. The heating wasn’t consistent- hot water in shower missing the 2nd morning. Room very basic - no mirror - sheets with hairs on. I was the only person in the house which was a bonus.

The Satnav took us to the back of the building. The lighting in the area was very dark. I had to use my torch to be able to access the code for the door. I was supposed to be served breakfast but as soon as I messaged the property owner he never responded back.

The hotel did not meet any expectations there is false advertisement on booking.com the facilities disgusting we had no towels no Wi-Fi no heating no plug sockets in the bedroom no mirror and the cleanliness is terrible

Coventry Weekend stay Aug 2025

The environment was safe and quiet. Clean enough and good 👍 value for money we paid. Toilet rolls and basics were provided, and clean towels were left in the bedroom for use.

None really, only a bit irritating was about parking. But, fortunately, as we stayed over the weekend, you can park free across the road. If you plan to stay during the week, it permits holders only 8 am to 6 pm. Another issue was that both washrooms or bedrooms, there were no mirrors at all. I had to use my mobile camera for shaving 😑 😒 🙄.

The bed was comfy

No toilet paper or lock on the bathroom door. Had to wait 30 minutes to be let in and another 30 mins for them to clean the room whilst I was there. The room smelt of cigarettes. After being let in I still had to wait for the check in information on how to unlock front door as it’s a code. Even tho I contacted them that morning and told them I’d be arriving 3-4 time slot. It wasn’t ready till about 5pm

stayed here for two nights, as soon as I walked in I noticed the place was filthy. Crumbs everywhere, fag butts, baggies, beer cans etc Some of the other residents staying there was on drugs and left them around the living room for us to then get accused for it when we assured them it wasn’t us and it was in-fact a group of boys from a different room. One of my freinds woke up to a camera in her face being filmed by the cleaners. All staff was rude and made us feel unwelcome, the flat is located on one of the worst streets I’ve ever seen like something out of top boy. One of the other people staying there walked in about 4am with stab wounds saying he’d be stabbed. When we left I left one of my bags in there and the owner came out a threw it on the pavement. Everyone was rude, angry and shouting. The toiletries provide had dead flys and moths in. Wouldn’t recommend unless you want a night from hell
