Overall, the suite was decent and I would consider staying here again, but there are a few things the host should address. The biggest issue was the noise. There was quite a bit of noise coming from upstairs starting around 7:00 a.m., which made it impossible to sleep in. Then, around 8:30 a.m., the host called me several times and knocked on the basement door because he needed me to move my vehicle. I had parked exactly where the check-in instructions said to park — “behind the stairwell.” However, he initially insisted that he had told me to park beside the bins. When I showed him the message with the instructions, he realized the mistake and apologized. Still, it was frustrating to be woken up over a parking issue when we had followed the instructions provided. There are also several advertised amenities that don’t seem to match what is actually available to guests. The listing mentions air conditioning, but there is only a fan provided in the room, and we did not have access to any temperature controls. It also lists a flat-screen TV, although the TV provided is more like a small computer monitor. A washing machine is listed, but there is no washing machine accessible within the suite. Hand sanitizer is also listed as being provided. There is soap in the bathroom for washing your hands, but we did not see any hand sanitizer. The kitchenette could also use a few improvements. There is a coffee maker, but no coffee is provided for it — only instant coffee. Tea bags are provided, but there is no kettle. We had to fill the single mug provided with water from the bathroom and heat it in the microwave to make tea and instant coffee. The small fridge was also unplugged when we arrived. We plugged it in that evening, and by the next morning it had completely frozen the food we had put inside, including our fruit and avocados. The suite itself was fine, and the host did apologize for the parking misunderstanding.
