Apartment Gaudi

Apartment is in real life as beautiful as in the pictures and designed modernly. The air conditioner is a lifesaver in a hot summer day and made the holiday liveable and nights sleepable when the temperature was hot. There is a small supermarket nearby and lot of cafes (for the best gelato you should definately try the Allora cafe, located within 2 min walk from the apartment). Take into consideration that the apartment lays in the ground floor of the apartment building with the bedroom windows laying on a street, with not much traffic, but probably you won't open the window guards aswell like us. But the apartment has a lot of lighting solutions and a sky-light.

The toilet was placed on the wall in a very high position (something to consider when traveling with kids) and needed a lot of flushing before something went down. The kitchen utensils in the apartment are minimal or scraped and do not light the masterchef spirit in you (would need an upgrade) but it is probably for the support of the amazing cafes/restaurants in the area. There is a smart TV, but needs your own logging into the account and took more time to set up than we expected. Yes you should pack a sleeping mask if you cannot sleep in light rooms, but this we could read beforehand in a previous review and prepare ourselves.

Excellent space and layout, perfect for a family. The apartment had everything we needed for a week, even a high chair for our toddler. Really handy to have a washing machine and dryer inside and the kitchen was brilliant.

Everything was great thus the kitchen equipment could do with another pot and frying pan (personal preference).

Location is central, flat was clean and tidy. The design is pretty, like in the images and more. The staff was very friendly throughout the checkin and checkout.

- the boiler is not big so lovers of long showers - you will need to wait for the water to heat up. - there's a tourist tax (€1 pp per day) that booking.com didn't mention when booking.

Very spacious and comfortable! It seems to have been recently renovated, the appliances were new. There was a folder with useful information, and the host was very helpful.

The kitchen has a lovely glass ceiling, like a sun room, but it could use shades as the sun rises very early in the summer, and the apartment gets very bright.
