Dificuldade em estacionar… este apartamento aparece no booking.com na categoria dos apartamentos com estacionamento o que não corresponde com a verdade… existem lugares públicos sujeitos a disponibilidade e pagos.

Amazing location, breathtaking sea views, great cafe/bakery below, very popular at weekends. Comfy Sofa and beds. Good having 3 bathrooms. Apartment is on the 3rd floor with stairs up or there was a lift. Small bus station is just round the corner so you don’t need a car, we did have a hire car and there was free parking near the door to the flats, always a space in this off-season period anyway. Beach was beautiful, big waves (not a swimming beach) and quiet. Quarteira is nice, wasn’t too touristy, good places to eat nearby.

Die Lage: ruhig und doch mittendrin. Die Sicht vom Balkon ist herrlich und lässt über den renovierungsbedürftigen Zustand der Wohnung teilweise hinwegblicken. Die Übergabe der Schlüssel war problemlos, wobei die Wohnung nicht 16 Uhr bezogen werden konnte, sondern erst gegen 17:30 Uhr. Im Haus nebenan ist ein Bäcker, sehr zu empfehlen: wirklich sehr leckere Brötchen zu günstigen Preisen.

Die Wohnung ist mit 4 Sternen und einer Bewertung von über 9 bei Booking angegeben, das ist in beiden Fällen nicht gerechtfertigt. An den Wänden sind überall Flecken, der Putz bröckelt teilweise und es sind Löcher sichtbar. Schänke/Kommoden aus Holz sind veraltet und riechen unangenehm. In den Bädern funktionieren die Abflüsse schlecht, die Duschkopfhalterung in einem Bad ist defekt. Die Gardinen und die Gardinenbänder sind so verschmutzt, dass man sie nicht anfassen möchte. Der Fahrstuhl war nur zum Teil nutzbar-wenn man Glück hatte, funktionierte er, wenn man Pech hatte, blieb man stecken oder er ging gar nicht(ist ein bekanntes Problem, Warnhinweis im Fahrstuhl vorhanden). Einer von 2 Haustürschlüsseln war nicht brauchbar, man konnte die Haustür damit nicht öffnen.
