Location and views were great just unfortunate the road is closed so a little awkward to get to. Very comfortable stay with good facilities Very modern, clean and great attention to detail with the decor and colour scheme Perfect for a familiy and good base to explore the Island from
The only negative for me was the parking There are 2 bays to the fear …. even with no one parked it was a huge struggle to turn in the tight turning space and the driveway itself is very tight so you can only open car door one side. I found this all quite stressful each evening. Very lucky to pick a week when the upstairs apartment was unoccupied so parking a bit easier ! We would stay again but would be worried ablut the parking

Location and view are excellent, living area is spacious enough. Street is fairly quiet. Kettle broke (welding failed) - I replaced it and the owner reimbursed me very promptly.
It said bin liners were provided but there were none. Only one loo roll was left in the property. The filter coffee machine hadn't been cleaned out and was very mouldy - I suspect no guests had been in the week or two before us, as it takes time for it to get so mouldy. The fridge/freezer was off when we arrived which was a shame as we brought some frozen and fresh food we needed to store and some of it nearly thawed before we could store it. If the cleaner can be asked to switch it on when they come in to clean that would be good. If there are no guests in the previous week, then ask them to come in and switch it on before the next guests arrive. We had some issues with the toilet blocking towards the end of the stay - not a solids issue, as we tested it with nothing in - it would flush fine once or twice, but the third time the bowl would fill and take quite a while to drain.Then the issue persisted for a while. We got a plunger to try to resolve it but the problem remained. I suspect it was an issue with the soil pipe further down the system or an issue with the upstairs pipe where it joins the main soil pipe?

Great location over looking the sea
Parking is a little tight, ok if you have a smaller car, nothing the owners can do to change this though and it was mentioned on the instructions before arriving.

We were locked out because the keysafe code had been changed by their cleaners and the owners had not been notified so we had been sent an old code. So we spent an hour and a half on the doorstep. We couldn't locate the owners until late that night when they did call back. Evenutually we got in touch with Booking.com who cancelled the property and asked us to find a property for that night - it was now 7pm on a Friday. We did manage to rebook but it was more expensive being such short notice with little available. We were told we could reclaim the difference. However I got an email after saying I could only book up to £51.99. The new booking being late notice was £80 more and by the time we got in it was 9pm and our evening plans ruined. I still have not found a way to claim the difference because there is no way to email customer services. And no mention of compensation for ruining a third of our stay. It was a poor start to eventually a good stay. Booking.com needs to make contact easier and be more fair about compensation.
