The Haven Beach House

We stayed here for 9 nights during a golf trip, and the house couldn’t have been a better fit for our group. The location is outstanding! Right on the beach with incredible views, and the sunroom overlooking the water was easily a favorite spot to relax after long days on the course with a dram (or 2) of whisky. The house itself had plenty of space for four adults and was very comfortable throughout our stay. One of the biggest surprises was how convenient everything was. You’ve got a great café, a local pub, a fantastic restaurant, and a small market all just a short walk away, which made things really easy when we didn’t feel like driving. Parking was simple with options right on the street or nearby, and we never had any issues. Beyond the house itself, the town of Lower Largo was a highlight. Everyone we met was incredibly friendly, and it added a lot to the overall experience of the trip. All in all, this place exceeded expectations and genuinely made our trip better. We’d absolutely stay here again!

Nothing major at all, overall it was a fantastic stay! If anything, the location is a bit quieter in the evenings, so you’ll likely want to drive into nearby towns for more dining or nightlife options. The nearby café was great, but it didn’t open until around 10am and was closed Monday and Tuesday, which made early breakfasts a bit tricky on golf days. We found the restaurant had similar hours for non-hotel guests. Thankfully there was a great local market for breakfast items to make our own on early days. That said, these were minor trade-offs for the setting, views, and overall experience.

Lovely house, direct access to beach from garden. Really good size rooms, plenty of dishes, great kitchen, 4 bathrooms, fabulous view. Lots of nice extras like board games. Easy access to local attractions and loads of space for the children's egg hunt on Easter Sunday.
