Riad Sheba, Villa d'artiste au coeur de la médina d'Essaouira

Authenticité du Ryad . Le monsieur qui nous a reçu était d une extrême gentillesse et de bon conseil .

Prachtige villa met veel karakter in hartje van de medina. Heerlijke en ruime kamers, overal kunst (ook van de verhuurder!). Mohammed was behulpzaam en haalde ons op bij de dichtsbijzijnde poort. Ik zou er zeker nog eens willen verblijven!

De eigenaar hebben een kat, en mevrouw komt ‘s ochtends en ‘s avonds langs om om de kat eten te geven. Voor ons prima, maar als je op privacy gesteld bent of allergisch bent, is het iets om rekening mee te houden.

location (in the heart of the Medina, 10 minutes walk from the beach), great size for our family (if anything too many bedrooms/ bathrooms), lots of rooms to relax too - garden room with TV, lounge.

This would have been a 10 but for a few things: 1. The place could have done with a full power clean before we arrived, 2. We weren't provided with/ offered any clean towels (a 4 night stay), 3. The general cleanliness was lacking (considering that the housekeeper lived on the top floor that's not really on, 4. Just the small touches that would have taken the mark to a 10 - no coffee in the place when we arrived (despite the fact there were 2 coffee makers) / any groceries (a small settling in package speaks volumes) and we were never offered breakfast (despite this being an option)
