Chestnut Cottage - 4 bedroom house

The house itself is a lovely period property in an excellent location a short drive from Winchester. There are lots of family activities locally, and attractive walks/runs from the house.

It was superficially clean (bathrooms, kitchen surfaces etc) but in need of a deep clean, with stained sofas, carpets, pillows etc. There were used items left in the dishwasher, which we did not use, and we bought a washing up bowl because the sink plugs were so dirty. There were three large wardrobes in the house, but all had been secured with bike locks, so that we had to live out of our suitcases. The house has two parking spaces, but only one was left available for us, and the public parking outside was very busy.
