Joao mi ha dato il benvenuto con una spiegazione della storia della casa, tutto era curato nei minimi dettagli, a partire dal profumo di fuori nel vialetto d’ingresso, alla selezione raffinata di tisane e infusi fino alla colazione con prodotti freschi e gustosi. La camera era pulita e accogliente, arredata con gusto. Non una semplice guesthouse ma qualcosa di speciale. Lo straconsiglio.

Fantastic location. Beautiful room with amazing blackout blind shutters. Next to a road but you would never have guessed it’s so quiet! The bed was a dream. Traveled for work so would definitely stay again. The owner and their colleague were so helpful. Freshly made cake and Port Wine in the reception !

Beautiful apartment, perfectly located close to the sea and the city of Porto. We really enjoyed the freshly prepared breakfast. The best part was the host, who welcomed us with port wine and shared wonderful tips about the area. We truly felt at home and would definitely stay here again!

This hotel was a little gem. Our teenagers had one of the apartments and my husband and I had one of the double rooms on the ground floor. The space has been designed with great care and taste. We all felt immediately relaxed and comfortable. The staff were absolutely superb and the breakfasts were outstanding - everything on offer was delicious! Helena and Victoria were so kind and attentive - they ensured our breakfast-time was a wonderful way to start each day. Joao was there waiting with a friendly welcome and the offer of a glass of port after a late arrival from the airport - very much appreciated. Congratulations to Joao and Angela for this wonderful hotel and thank you for making our stay so special. A particular thank you to Angela for the wonderful suprise birthday cake!
The hotel itself was perfect. The beach at Matosinhos is long and sandy and seems a popular location for surfing, but the general town is not so pretty. Taxis are cheap though, so we still found it a good base for visiting Porto.
