While pricey for a small apartment, it was cheaper than many other accommodations in the Tromso area and well located from the airport. Around a 15 minute drive. So the price and location were good. It is a quiet area, too.
The bed was comfortable although very small for a couple. Think student days of cosying up in a bed a bit bigger than a single size bed. My husband and I are in our 50s so the bed felt narrow.
There is a small kitchen area and a fridge so it was fine for a one-night stay. The shower room was a good size.
In winter, you will absolutely need ice spikes on your shoes. Reaching the apartment from the parking space was treacherous with normal footwear. We almost slipped on the sloped ice sheet numerous times.
The room is small. Think cabin size. The bed is really for one person. We slept head to toe to have enough space. The actual bed was comfortable though.
In my opinion , there were two missing items in the kitchen, a cafetière and corkscrew.
The shower room was a good size but before we arrived we were asked by the owners to ensure we took only short showers due to the cost of heating the water. The apartment cost was not cheap so it was a bit frustrating to be asked to keep showers short.
