Superb Central Apt With Parking

Lovely well appointed apartment in an excellent quiet location. The free parking is a bonus in Cambridge. The apartment is well equipped and spotlessly clean.

New pillows needed

Great location with secure parking. The facilities were excellent.

Big problem with check-in. For a start 1600 is late for check in especially when you have to pay for parking while you wait in an expensive city. The biggest problem: after taking our money they sent an email requesting personal details including date of birth and passport number. Consistent with BDC advice we declined to give them this information by email or at all. In apparent retribution they neglected to send check in details so we had to contact BDC customer service while we waited outside in the heatwave. After being contacted by BDC the apartment manager eventually sent details through at 16:35 with no apology, except to say it was likely because we didn’t fully fill in their request for personal information. That tainted our stay, so no matter how good the unit was the overall experience was poor. We have never before been asked for personal information by a host. It reminds me of when we stayed in Eastern Europe during the Cold War and we had to surrender our passports at the check-in desk.

Need a non slip mat in bath.

Excellent location with lovely views, Easy access to bars and a wide range of restaurants. Comfortable bed and tastefully furnished. The free parking is a real bonus in central Cmbridge. We will return!

extra hand towels (only 1 was provided) and some cleaning products would be helpful.
