Villa Maria

This is a lovely home in a rural part of Istria. It is spacious and the beds are comfortable. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and the showers are luxurious. The pool is a wonderful bonus especially on a warm evening. Host provided pool towels. It is a 2 min walk to the little town and there is a market, bakery and two restaurant options.

Only one key was provided and door auto locks. So be careful. There is no dryer only a drying rack. At this price point a dryer would have been nice. No extra pillows. You can't sleep with windows open due to the barking dog across the street. This is farm county and there are a lot of flies. There are screens on the doors but they still manage to get it. We never found the fly swatter, but host said there was one. Also some instructions on how to use outdoor lights would have been nice. The lighting was pretty complicated, even property manager agreed she struggled.
