The Hygge Hutt

Hygge Hutt is supremely comfortable. It is cozy, and layered in comfortable things and textures and sweet little gestures. It is warm, oh so warm in those cold winter days. While we came to Methven to ski, we also really enjoyed our time in our home away from home. We loved the cozy bedrooms with the pretty bed linen and throws and pillows, the plush carpets, the bathtub after a day's skiing. We loved the cookies on arrival, the fully equipped kitchen with great knives. We loved the selection of board games, the coloured pens, the beautiful magazines (not the usual dog-eared ones from 2002, lol), the drying rack near the fire, the fireplace itself, the box of slippers. It's on a quiet street, as well.

There really isn't anything we didn't like. Actually, an immersion blender or regular blender would be a great addition to the kitchen, as I couldn't whizz up soups. But all else in the kitchen is great. I especially loved the cast iron Le Creuset pot.
