The Cozy Cottage

You can tell that the owners put a lot of thought into making this space look inviting and into giving this space everything someone might need for their stay. It was in a location that suited my purpose for the visit. It has off street parking right in front of the unit which was very convenient. It was well-stocked with cookware, snacks, and bathroom essentials. There were a pair of thick cozy bathrobes available to use. Plus, for making coffee, if you prefer not to make single-use plastic waste with a Keurig type machine you could opt for using a french press. I really appreciated the option.

1) The little loveseat in front of the tv was child size. I’m an average sized adult and it was extremely uncomfortable for tv viewing. I’m just one person. A couple would be impossible. The tv is not facing the bed so the little couch or a hard table chair were the only seating options. I understand the need for seating that doesn’t take up a lot of width in the space that they have. But it is possible to find a narrow loveseat with an adult-sized seat depth. I have a similar issue in my home and I was able to find something comfortable. Pairing it with an ottoman really boosted the comfort. 2) The closed off door leading from inside the bathroom to the main house needs insulation for sound proofing. 3) There was a lot of extra bedding and books inside the dresser. However, there is no closet and only a few small empty drawers. There were some pegs you could hang clothes from. But overall, no suitcase stand and very little space to put your clothes.
