Large, comfortable bed, clothes washer (but no laundry soap?), windows open from 2nd floor with view onto street below.
Apartment musty smelling, but the bedroom not so much.
Peculiar check in for us. Note: More than one accommodation in the town uses the “Santiago” name. Received instructions by WhatsApp the morning of our Camino walk. When we arrived, we had to stand in line at a cafe/bar in the “main square”, to pick up keys left there in our name. There was a video sent to us, of a street, doorway, and staircase to go up to the apartment, but we didn’t handle Google PIN coordinates well, so had hard time finding which side street to go down, of many, off the main square.

The owners were very prompt in communicating changes in the reservation and quickly offered an alternative. It turned out they put me in a larger apartment which was comfortable and had a clothes washer which came in really handy. The large apartment let me spread out and relax even for just one night. Great view of the river and the Spanish coast.
It’s a good ten to fifteen minute walk from restaurants. I mentioned this because I did not have a car.

Ruim appartement met een wasmachine waardoor ik tevens mijn wandel kleding kon wassen. Daarnaast een goede espressomachine met dito koffie. Appartement is gelegen in hartje Caminha. Daardoor is een restaurant of eetcafé altijd in de buurt. Al met al een prima overnachting gehad!
De bank is aan vervanging toe.
