Place of Grace - 1 min to National Theatre

היינו בסוף שבוע והיה רעש (נסבל) של צעירים ברחוב. המטבח והמקלחת סמוכים ואין אפשרות לאיוורור בשירותים.

The owner was extremely friendly, helpful and considerate. He went above and beyond to try and help with anything I needed and was responsive. The location is great, right next to the major tram/subway and many stores and restaurants. Easily accessible and has a washing machine in the unit & drying rack. Overall, worth the booking. The look from the outside does intimidate initially as it is an old and worn down building but the owner did a nice job decorating and updating the key items in the unit but not all. The owner really made the difference with his help and kindness.

The AC was a slightly undersized portable unit for the size space. It kept the area relatively cool but never really chill. Apparently after storms, there is sewer gas that comes up through the drains and made the kitchen/ shower room stink pretty bad. I’m not sure if that was really what was going on because the smell came and went for 4 days even though it had only stormed the day before I got there. The only other thing that was strange was that the sheet/blanket for the bed, didn’t seem to be the right size to fit the bed so I had to rotate it into basically a twin to full size sheet on a king bed and there was only 1 sleeping pillow.
