The attentiveness of the owner! The AC stopped working on the Saturday evening we arrived. I texted him at 4AM and he replied within 15 minutes, offering to let us have either of his other 3 houses in the area! We were going to move after lunch, but I got the text that a technician had repaired it ON A SUNDAY MORNING! We didn't need a bowling alley in the basement. The house was clean, we had everything we needed and he went out of his way to save the day.

The host was friendly and responsive. He was helpful with advice about our relocation to the area.
The home did not seem “renovated”. The bathrooms had not been updated, and several small items needed repair. Nothing serious, just irritating. The shower door leaked. A fridge drawer didn’t work. The dishwasher drawer spring didn’t work, so it came crashing down when opened unless held. We bought ant traps for the kitchen. The rooster next door got up early.

Don’t let the lack of reviews deter you. This place is beautiful inside, squeaky clean, well equipped with lots to cook with, bright white towels, clean and fluffy bedding. The owner was very quick with my questions. We will for sure stay again if we need a place in Rome.

The house was nice and well stocked. The property manager was extremely accommodating.
They don’t have TV’s in all of the rooms.
