Country Style Cottage

Good location, had everything we needed.

The included breakfast was minimal and booking felt overpriced.

This cute little cottage had everything for our quick overnight stay and is quite large in size. It's old and needs some work, but would be fine for short stays. It has very comfy beds in all 3 bedrooms, heating in all bedrooms including the lounge room (reverse cycle), vintage equipped kitchen, large open shower, no garage but could park car in driveway or maybe even behind the fence (backyard), but we didn't try this.

The cottage is on the main road (or just off it on a side road) = loud at night with the road traffic especially trucks passing through

Easy to find, great location, decent size house for our family. Old cottage, hasn't been updated much. Reminded me of my grandparents home. Breakfast and basic cooking provisions. Washer and dryer outside. Comfy beds, decent shower. Close to street and shops. Plenty of power points.

Areas of termite damage throughout, broken street fencing, and driveway gate, good thing we didn't end up bringing our dog! Definitely smelt of yesteryear, but for a one night stay, it was manageable. Kitchen tap was hard to turn off, there was also 3 taps so can only assume the left one was rainwater? Looking back, our stay was probably overpriced.
