Lots of child-friendly and dog-friendly amenities which was very helpful for a group traveling with a dog and young child. House was fairly well stocked and was very spacious for our entire party. The price was very reasonable/affordable compared to other listings!
There is no AC so it can get pretty warm inside on hot days; normally fans only wouldn’t be a problem but it was hard to cool off the room enough for our toddler. Beds were a little hard.

Our stay here was amazing. The home is very well kept and clean. The carpet is pristine. The bathrooms were well stocked. We did not have to run to the store for more tp, the kitchen was well stocked as well with utensils. Etc. The backyard is beautiful. It is amazing to wake up to the beauty of trees and nature. I highly recommend if you're looking for a slower paced retreat with nature and hiking. This was only minutes away from Donner Lake and hiking trails. It's pet friendly with dog beds and feeding trays. Made our fur babies feel right at home. The bed space was great, and bunks are very fun for kiddos. I would love to come back!
There was nothing I didn't like. If you're looking for a faster busier pace I wouldn't recommend. If you're looking to disconnect from the world, hike, fish, and enjoy the beauty of nature, I would highly recommend!
