Aethera Sky Retreat Wadi Rum

This is one of the best camps and trips I've ever been to, without exaggeration. I had always imagined a camp like this, and my imagination became a reality when I visited. The peace and tranquility, the Bedouin way of life, and the high-quality tents—clean and air-conditioned—were truly wonderful. I won't forget the people running this camp; they welcomed us with the utmost hospitality, Bedouin kindness, and cheerful spirits. You feel right at home with your family and friends. The food was also delicious. We saw them bring the Bedouin zarb (a traditional dish) out from underground—chicken, rice, vegetables, potatoes, onions, and much more—and arrange it on an open buffet with all sorts of salads and appetizing dishes. I also can't forget the jeep tour. They took us to places more like Mars than Earth, with their breathtaking beauty, red sands, and towering mountains. After dinner, we drove the jeep into the heart of the desert to stargaze at the Milky Way. This was the most beautiful tour I've ever experienced, filled with peace, tranquility, and stars, far from the noise and lights. This is just a brief summary of my trip to Wadi Rum. If I wanted to explain it all, it would take too long, but I'll just say, come and experience this! At this camp, you'll experience the authentic Bedouin life you've always dreamed of, just like me. I'm so happy to have come to this camp, where I had the most wonderful day of my life, and I will definitely come back whenever I have the chance. They set up a meeting point near the police station, and we followed them to the parking area. From there, they took us in a jeep to the camp. We received a very warm welcome, where they offered us Bedouin tea made with sage, cardamom, cinnamon, and cold water. Afterwards, we went to our tent, put down our bags, washed up, and prepared for the jeep tour. We drove for six hours among the mountains and red sands, seeing many sites such as Lawrence's House, the mountain towers (Umm Fruth), Mushroom Mountain, and many more. Midway through the trip, our leader and guide, Awad, prepared a Bedouin lunch and tea over a fire and explained the old Bedouin way of life, which we experienced firsthand. I wish we had more time in Wadi Rum; we would have stayed longer, but we will definitely return and make up for lost time. I highly recommend this peaceful and clean camp. I wasn’t sure what to expect before arriving, but this experience was far better than I imagined. Everything was well organized, and I felt comfortable from the very first minute. The staff were professional, welcoming, and always made sure we were enjoying every part of our stay. We spent four hours on a Jeep tour through the desert, exploring breathtaking landscapes, towering mountains, and endless sand dunes. Every stop was more beautiful than the last, and our guide gave us plenty of time to take photos and enjoy the incredible scenery without feeling rushed. The traditional dinner was delicious, but the highlight of the evening was the stargazing tour. Seeing the Milky Way so clearly under a sky full of stars, far away from city lights and noise, was an unforgettable experience. The peace and silence of the desert made it even more special. The camp is perfectly located in the heart of the desert, surrounded by beautiful mountains that make the views absolutely stunning. If you’re looking for an authentic desert adventure with outstanding hospitality, unforgettable activities, and a peaceful atmosphere, I highly recommend this camp. I would happily come back again.

The camp was clean, well organized, and the traditional hospitality was amazing. Coffee, tea, and refreshments were always available, and the atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. I joined the 4-hour Jeep tour, and it was an unforgettable experience. We explored breathtaking parts of the desert, surrounded by magnificent mountains in front of and behind the camp. The camp’s location is simply perfect—right in the heart of the desert, offering spectacular scenery and a true escape from everyday life. After dinner, we went on the stargazing tour, which was definitely one of the highlights of my trip. Seeing the Milky Way with such incredible clarity, far away from city lights and noise, was absolutely magical. Sitting under a sky full of stars in complete silence gave me a sense of peace that is hard to describe. Even when it was time to leave, the staff said goodbye with the same warmth and kindness they showed when I arrived.
