The DIY breakfast in the shared kitchen, worked out pretty well for us, there was a reasonable choice of food & drink items.
(- we would have had some eggs, but there weren't any instructions for the egg boiler...)
The room was ok, we managed to park in front of the guest house, next to the covered car outside. There was street parking that wasn't too far away, but we preferred to be closer.
The internet was fine, so was the bed, we didn't try the TV, or the shower.
With hindsight, I should have given the owners my gmail address, as I tried using the link from Booking.com for obtaining the door code & the key, in lots of other ways, none of which worked.
- Earlier I'd tried phoning for advice, as we'd not had the access details, before we set off from our home in Manchester
- despite requesting them a few times in advance.
Unfortunately, though I could hear her, she couldn't hear her, so I left her an answerphone message, which can't have got through...
Once we arrived outside the property, I managed to speak to the lady on her mobile phone & was advised she'd sent the details to my other email address, some hours before... this did get sent, but I've only just seen it, on my return!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Exceptional Stay
The Mandeville Guest House was absolutely wonderful. Everything was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and exceptionally comfortable, with so much care and attention given to every detail.
The breakfast was fantastic—delicious, beautifully prepared and the perfect start to the day.
A truly lovely guest house that combines style, comfort and impeccable cleanliness. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would happily return. Highly recommended!

Comfortable bed
1 towel + 1 hand towel per person for 3 nights - disastrous. What do these hosts think? That we shower and wipe in the same towel for 3 nights/4 days. Poor breakfast. I would surely not recommend this property. Apart from this, the code received to enter my door in the apartment buildung was wrongly given to me. Had to phone host up
