We were just happy that we found somewhere to stay. It was late at night and the previous hotel owner (booked on booking.com) cancelled our booking at the last minute and there were no hotels left due to the weekend of Mahakumbh. The mattresses were fine in this stay, but nothing else.
It was 1 bhk apartment. We were 6 members including 3 elderly people. One small bathroom, no appliances to heat water. Now way to get chai in the stay. You had to call the caretaker for hot water. He didn't have anything else like chai, coffee, etc. There were actually no other amenities as such - 2 very small complimentary water bottles and 1 small bathroom. The kitchen was locked and they called it a store. Not worth it. We found a suite at the same rate, the next day.
