Phalerus Suites

Spacious, clean, modern.

Stayed in the apartment suite for 9 nights. Refurbished and nice room and bathroom with high standard. Was expecting sort of an airbnb-help-yourself style stay, but it seemed we had service every other day with cleaning etc, which was a nice surprise. The bed was large and comfy, Aircons in both bedroom and living room. South-west facing balcony toward a quiet street was perfect for an afternoon glass of wine in comfy chairs in the evening sun (room 107). Both building and apartment doors with code locks, very convenient not to have to carry keys around. Supermarket downstairs had everything we needed. Short walk down to the public beach + the tram stop where the tram goes down the coast to private serviced beaches (Edem, Bolivar etc). Palaio Faliro is also a very nice suburb with restaurants etc. The neighbourhood itself is very calm and quiet but still just three blocks away from the main shopping/food street and sea, and even the local street cats were more comfortable than average in Athens.

The balcony is a bit narrow, but that's just the building style. Wish we had a few more glasses for drinking water etc, we only had the two. Also would recommend they install a longer line to hang up wet bath towels and swimsuits.

The person who looks after didn’t try looking after our needs…. As we plan back often but we will try to find another place to go to this era every year! Where will someone understand our need like toilet paper one of example ☺️😊
