Whether it's a hot summer day by the pool or a cozy winter day by the fireplace you will enjoy your mountain stay! The sunsets overlooking the pool area will take your breath way! On many summer nights the sky is definitely God's canvas, his art is amazing. The gourmet kitchen is fully stocked. You have pretty much all the things needed! There are double ovens to help speed up your cooking time. If you happened to be a coffee lover like me you will enjoy the fully stocked coffee bar equipped with a variety of coffee's, green tea, hot chocolate and all the fixings. You may enjoy having your coffee while sitting on the large front deck while listening to Dave's creek babbling in the distance! Don't be surprised if you see several different wild life species roaming on the property. Such as Bob Cats, Bears, Deer, Coyotes, Rabbits, Squirrels, etc! Mostly likely you will hear an Owl at night Hooting from the trees. And if you are lucky enough to stay here at Moonlight Crest on a full moon night you will be sure to the know how and why we named our home Moonlight Crest! The way the light from the Moon hits the ridge and lights it up on a full moon night is absolutely magical! If you want to venture out away from home you will have several choices. Locals enjoy tubing down The Little Tennessee River, Rafting down the Nantahala Gorge, Boating on the choice of several lakes surrounding the area such as Nantahala, Chatuge, Fontana, Glenville, and Bear Lake. Hiking on the Bartam Trail, Pickens Nose, Sunset and Sunrise Rock, etc. We are approximately 30.4 miles from the Cherokee Casino and Cherokee Reservation, 17.5 miles from Dry Fall in Highlands NC, 74 miles from Pigeon Forge, Dollywood and Gatlinburg TN, 68 miles fromBiltmore House in Asheville NC, 129 miles to Atlanta GA. **Absolutely No Smoking in the house! **
