"Les Minimaisons," a private vacation rental where Mélanie and Régis will give you a warm welcome and offer advice to ensure you have a wonderful stay in Quercy. "Les Minimaisons" consists of two very old houses dating back to the 17th century that have been joined together to form a single property. They were restored in 2023 to preserve their original appearance, including the attic-style upper floor. The interior decor is timeless. From the cottage, you can set out on walks and enjoy the natural surroundings of the Causses du Quercy Regional Nature Park! You’re sure to be captivated by the wildlife (deer, hares, foxes…) and the deer rut in the fall. Of course, nearby you’ll discover the world of truffles and saffron, as well as tastings of “cabécous” cheese and pastis. At the neighboring farm, you can sample duck preserves. The local cuisine is no mere cliché! Here, you’re nestled between the Lot Valley and the Célé Valley—the perfect setting for hiking, swimming in the Célé River, fishing, and water sports. A rich historical heritage awaits, featuring various castles, medieval villages, and prehistoric caves. Cajarc, Padirac, Rocamadour, Cahors, Figeac, St. Cirq-Lapopie, Cènevières, Pech-Merle... Detached house located next to the owners’ home. Accessible via a few steps: Fully equipped, open-concept kitchen with dining area and a separate living room.
