Mosqueiro is an island in the state of Pará. It is the largest island in the municipality, with 15 freshwater beaches. A paradise. A paradise for freshwater surfing, the best time to surf is from August to November. The island has a strong indigenous influence. The name "Mosqueiro" comes from the term "Moqueirão," which the Tupinambá Indians used for the preservation of fish and game. There are 17 km of freshwater beach. The Pousada Oasis is located on one of the beaches that showcases all the beauty of this paradise.
