Please note: the apartment is on the 5th floor in a building without a lift, so it’s best for guests who don’t mind the climb.

Cesis is a well-kept medieval town in the Gauja region. First mentioned in 1206, it later became part of the Hanseatic League and is known today for its castle, cultural life, and access to nature. The area is great for city walks, exploring historical sites, or spending quiet time outdoors. Many travellers visit as a day trip from Riga, but staying a couple of nights gives you time to enjoy the atmosphere and surroundings at a relaxed pace.
