Communication was excellent with the host. The house was clean and located in a nice neighborhood. It has plenty of room if you need to accommodate a bunch of people. There were a few “amenities” that I would have liked to see - the house does not have a hair dryer (when traveling it’s nice to not have to pack that), and only one bedroom had a dresser to store clothing in. I had to hang everything in the closet as a result. Another suggestion would be adding some kitchen items (more food storage containers) ziploc baggies, etc.

Absolutely stunning home nestled perfectly in the woods. It was pristine and beautiful. We had a wonderful stay amd plan on returning. Our host was quick to respond and went above and beyond to meet and exceed our expectations

We just finished our stay at Bela Vida, and we had a wonderful time. The location was great, the house was airy and light, and we had plenty of room for our two families. Most days, we did day trips to other places, but the morning we spent at John’s Pond was lovely; the kayaks were awesome for the kids to play with, and it was super close as advertised. We also loved being able to play bocce ball in the yard and see fireflies at night!The reason this isn’t 5-stars is because there were a few things that felt surprisingly missing or “off.” For instance, there wasn’t a hair dryer anywhere in the house (turns out they don’t advertise having one, so our fault for not noticing, but we’ve never been somewhere without one before). Also, there was no soap outside of the hand soap at the sinks (nothing in the baths/showers), and no disposable coffee filters (the coffee pot has a non-disposable one, but it was moldy, which skeezed us out). The bath towels were lovely and fluffy and soft, but there were just enough for everyone to have one (no hair towels for the ladies ), only three total hand towels-one for each bathroom, and no washcloths. There was also only one box of tissues (almost all gone) in the whole place. None of this was anything a couple trips to the store didn’t solve, but it was surprising to have to purchase as many basic things as we did. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend Bela Vida; especially with a few minor additions.
