What an excellent stay. All the amenities one could want with the only exception being no living room space. Appreciated the spacious refrigerator, and large kitchen table. The washer/dryer worked well. The bed was incredibly comfortable, I can’t recall a time when I slept better. The fireplace was a nice touch offering warmth on colder nights. It wasn’t needed, but was a nice amenity. Would definitely stay again.

Having grown up in East Dundee, I was excited to find a place in "downtown." Well, let me tell you downtown has grown, and this is a great place to stay to experience it all. We were in the middle of all the great restaurants. We didn't have time to get to all of them...yet. There were things going on in the little grassy area out front and my husband rode his bike to Crystal Lake. The location is phenomenal!Inside they've thought of just about everything. There were welcome gifts (wine and discounts at a local restaurant), there were supplies for coffee, laundry, etc. The charm of this place is great and the host is super helpful.Note that there is not a living room, but there is a bit of a potential gathering space in the front bedroom, in the kitchen or outside. We spent our time on the great little deck overlooking River St.
