I have a large luggage, so climbing 3 flight of stairs with it plus backpack was a challenge. No elevator.

very close to two different bus stops. about 40 min to the UNESCO hanok folk village. (direct bus, but watch the timetables) the staff is super friendly and the hostel has a very homy vibe. there is a terrace to hang out and chill. Small (only two rooms, one women, one men) so you get to know everyone pretty quicky. Shower and toilet in the room but also one outside the room. there is a free breakfast (toast and jam + hot beverages) very good !

no curtains on the top bunks and mattress a little bit stiff but still pretty good.

The volunteer staff were absolutely lovely. The location is good for the town and lots of recommendations of where to eat, how to get places etc

The place is very ladened , there is stuff everywhere, it is clean but stacked high, it felt very much like student accommodation. As you enter the door shoes are just piled on the floor for you to climb over rather than stored anywhere. The beds are the hardest I’ve experienced in Korea and I get that Korean mattresses are generally harder. The privacy curtains aren’t great, sleeping near a window you are woken by the sunrise in your face. For the cost this was absolutely fine and for many these issues would not be a problem. I can not fault the staff or the location. It was just too untidy for me.
