Beachside Homely Flat in Rockingham - Hosted by Canstay

The unit is nice and spacious. There is lots of room to store your clothing in the bedroom wardrobe. It was very convenient having shampoo, conditioner and bodywash in the shower. The shower is big. It has a rain head and has a separate shower hose too. We did appreciate the jug of cold water that was in the fridge on our arrival. We got our own breakfast from the IGA which is just across the road. It is an easy to walk to the beach, which is great as finding a car park on the beach front can be a mission The location was perfect for our needs.

It was a big hassle getting entry to our unit. It took several phone calls before we were sent our code to the lock box. Finding someone else's rubbish had been left in a bin. {I opened a cupboard and pulled open a bin to find empty cans of coke and empty biscuit packets}. Not having clean towels was an issue. Our schedule was busy, and we did not have time to wash our towels every day, even though the laundry was free. Not having access to normal TV. We do not have Net Flicks or use You Tube so we were reliant on the internet to find out what was happening, particularly as there was a bush fire nearby. The road noise can be quite loud at certain times of the day. The bushes beside the carparking area needs to be trimmed back as we scratched our rental car on it. The driveway is narrow for large vehicles so you need to park as close as possible to the edge so other cars can get down it.

It just happens the door lock was being changed and being attended by the care taker. I was then provided with the key. The issue with unit 1 is that, it's close to the street and there is some traffic noise. Otherwise it's a comfy self contained unit. Some additional bathroom items, like - face washer, shower gel, shampoo, etc woukd have been great. Thank you..

We loved that it was so close in proximity to the centre of Rocky foreshore! Beaches, Food and shops - extremely convenient 😊

Not a total dealbreaker at all - But the bed was extremely firm.

It was close to the foreshore and easy to get to. IGA over the road and the locked gate was good… when it worked! Heater worked well and shower was hot. Very functional and great it had a dishwasher.

It really wasn’t cleaned very well. Outside there was a cigarette but between the concrete slabs, the kitchen cupboards all had drip marks down them and you could see where someone had tried to clean the oil spray from overhead cupboards but was too short. Otherwise it was fine. The problem with getting out the gate was difficult until I realised how to get around it. Pillows were a bit lumpy.
