Exceptional hospitality – a perfect stay in Luxor! Everything about our stay at Eden on the Nile was wonderful – the beautiful location right on the Nile, the lovely rooms and the excellent service. What really made the difference was the genuine, personal hospitality. When I needed to visit an ATM and a pharmacy, the owner's son simply offered to take me there on his motorcycle and personally helped me get everything sorted out. That is truly exceptional service and hospitality at its best! Another unforgettable highlight was the felucca cruise with dinner on board – a truly magical experience on the Nile. Absolutely fantastic and highly recommended! A delightful highlight was the incredibly delicious, freshly made mango and lemon juices, prepared with fruit from their own garden – simply amazing and some of the best we've ever tasted! We felt completely welcome and well looked after throughout our stay. A wonderful place with wonderful people – we couldn't recommend Eden on the Nile more highly!

Magical oasis !!! One of the highlights was being able to enjoy a Nile cruise, taking in the scenery and experiencing the river from such a special perspective. The food was delicious, with wonderful meals that made the stay even more enjoyable. Our room was comfortable, beautifully appointed and had all the comforts we needed to feel completely at home. There was something very special about this property — the peaceful island atmosphere, the beautiful surroundings, the pool, the wonderful food and the unforgettable experience of being right on the Nile. We absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a unique, peaceful and memorable Egyptian experience. Truly amazing

Die Anlage ist sehr schön gestaltet. Alles ist sehr neu und es werden momentan weitere Bungalows gebaut. Da die Anlage etwas außerhalb gelegen ist, ist es auch sehr ruhig und man bekommt von dem ganzen Trubel in Luxor nichts mit. Das Personal (Tarek und Mohamed) waren sehr freundlich und jederzeit verfügbar. Auch nachts war Mohamed da und er hätte bei Problemen helfen können. Der Kontakt war auf jeden Fall sehr persönlich und freundschaftlich, was die Unterkunft besonders macht. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls sehr lecker und man ist gestärkt in den Tag gestartet. Die Zeit der Frühstücks konnte man frei wählen. Wir haben immer schon um 5:30 Uhr gefrühstückt, da wir um 6 Uhr los sind zu den Ausflügen. Auch das hat immer sehr gut funktioniert.

Da die Anlage ca. 10 km vom Zentrum von Luxor (Luxor Tempel) entfernt ist, benötigt man immer ein Taxi, um zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten zu kommen. Die Fahrt dauert ca. 15-20 Minuten. Die Fahrt, welche vom Personal organisiert wurde, hat für uns jedes Mal 400 Ägyptische Pfund gekostet. Für unseren Ausflug zum Tal der Könige und zum Hatschepsut-Tempel wurde für uns ein persönlicher Fahrer organisiert (Dauer ca. 4 Stunden). Dafür wurden uns 40 € in Rechnung gestellt, die Eintritte haben wir selbst bezahlt. Eine Feluka-Fahrt wurde uns ebenfalls für 50 € angeboten. Wir haben diese allerdings letztendlich über einen Guide in Luxor gebucht, wofür wir 30 € bezahlt haben inkl. Transfer nach Luxor und wieder zurück ans Hotel. Die Preiseinschätzung für die angebotenen Ausflüge überlasse ich deshalb jedem selbst. Wir persönlich haben extra eine kleine, familiäre Unterkunft gebucht, um die Ausflüge einfach und preiswert buchen zu können. Letztendlich hatten wir allerdings den Eindruck, dass die Preise der Unterkunft eher hoch angesetzt sind.
