Vega Haven

I recently stayed at Vega Heaven in Kamburugamuwa and it was an absolutely amazing experience. The place is exceptionally clean and well-maintained. I especially loved the comfortable bed and the well-equipped kitchen area, which made the stay very convenient. The outdoor veranda is a great place to relax, and the washroom was modern and clean. One of the best things about this place is the privacy it offers. It's also perfectly located close to many popular tourist attractions. Everything was spot on. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!

Nothing everything is really really good

I recently stayed at this villa in Sri Lanka and it exceeded my expectations. Having traveled to 37 countries and just coming from an extended stay in Phuket, Thailand, I can confidently say this location is exceptional. The villa is just a short walk from what I consider one of the most stunning beaches I’ve encountered in my travels. It is not yet overwhelmed by tourists and the water is pristine. The road in front of the villa runs parallel to the beach, with a variety of boutique hotels and dining options along it. There is a particularly nice café‑restaurant located only five minutes away on foot, right on the beach. Transportation from the villa is pretty effortless. Even without renting a motorbike, it’s simple to hail a tuk tuk or order a car via Uber, both of which are very affordable. The villa itself perfectly matches the photos. A privacy shade has been added to the entrance (not pictured) and the front gate can be locked, offering peace of mind if desired. For digital nomads, the high-speed internet and backup power bank were ideal — video conferences ran smoothly and uninterrupted. Wenura and his family are absolutely outstanding hosts. I arrived very late at night and was warmly welcomed without any issue. Wenura even treated me to dinner at Mr. Taco in nearby Weligama, which I highly recommend. Communication was clear and thoughtful throughout, and as a solo traveler, I felt completely secure and very well cared for. Overall, this villa offers an unbeatable combination of location, comfort, and hospitality. Whether you’re traveling for leisure or a digital nomad, this is an outstanding option.
