Nice homely hotel with great staff.

Great location very close to the village center, handy for all the facilities. Breakfast was and extra but very good and served by the very friendly host. We had everything we needed here and at a good price point and value for money.

The room was spacious and comfortable. The shower was excellent. The lighting in the room was very good and there was tea and coffee making facilities. On the Friday evening we had fish and chips....the best I've ever tasted and so reasonably priced.

Nice relaxed stay in a lovely hotel

Had a great stay in the family room, it had everything we needed. Great to have a parking space right next to the hotel. Staff really attentive and friendly. Dinner was reasonably priced for the area at the hotel and good portions. Breakfast was really nice too which we pre-ordered the night before which made it a quick service in the morning.

The staff were excellent - after a problem with our first room they immediately moved us to a new room which was excellent , spacious , clean and warm … couldn’t fault it.

First room needed some attention which I believe they are now doing.

A value for money stay

The staff were very welcoming. The room was a little cold when we first arrived but, with the additional heaters, warmed up to a pleasant temperature. The granola breakfast was tasty. The location is very good and the pub is definitely a locals pub

The staff were lovely, the bed was incredibly comfy and the pub downstairs was great. It is a really great place

On arrival we were informed that breakfast and checkout had to be completed by 10 am Sunday. We were also told to ignore pre booking a breakfast because it's the weekend. Sunday morning comes and myself and another family want to check out and have breakfast.... the pub was closed. There was someone, I guess was a member of staff, outside smoking who told us that it won't open until 12. We explained what we were told and he seemed just as confused as us. It's frustrating that we could have had a lay in, it's really frustrating that we would have to wait 2.5 hours for any kind of food as there are no other places for breakfast in burnham marker. We had to drive away to find some where.

Great staff and excellent location.

The staff made the trip for us. It is a proper family ran business and the daughter is a credit to the place... she could not do enough for us during our stay.

Communication before our stay could have been a little better. Ordered the family room and ended up in a double but the service received made up for that issue.

It was beautiful, exceptional place. The staff were amazing, so polite, professional and friendly. They were proud of the pub which was so nice to see. The rooms were perfect, comfortable and very warm . The food was 10/10 !!! The chef definitely needs a mention, it was exceptional!!! We will 100 % make a return vist !!!

We have the breakfast one morning, which again was excellent, absolutely delicious and no issues whatsoever- it’s not cheap, but it was worth it …. I just would have thought though that for that price you would have included tea and coffee, I was surprised to have to have paid extra for that which then made the breakfast overpriced and why we didn’t have breakfast the next morning- but that is literally it xx

Good location

The room was very cold. Only one electric heater in a large room. Added an extra night on nearer our stay and was quoted the same price as when we booked through booking.com, however was charged and extra £15 on arrival. Ordered breakfast pastries to take back to the room which was £5 on the menu, however we were charged £6 when leaving. TV was small given the size of the room and bathroom was very dated. Room lights kept flickering and tv turns on by itself.

Very good indeed

Full English breakfast was lovely. We didn't understand why we were asked the night before for what we wanted for breakfast and a time when we wanted breakfast. however we arrived at the table on time and the breakfast was brought to the table within a couple of minutes which was really nice. Worth explaining that the reason they ask is to make sure the breakfast is freshly prepared and ready on time. The accommodation wasn't close to the bar which was really nice to avoid noise. We are often a bit wary of staying in country pubs because we ask for a ground floor room due to arthritis but sometimes its noisy. Worth flagging that the rooms are quiet. Attitude of the staff was really pleasant

Good for a short stay.

Family room was spacious for 2 which is why we chose it. Dogs allowed which was great.Very good location for visiting nearby places. Room was warm. Staff were friendly and polite.

The bathroom had black mould around the bath and tiles. It should be bleached regularly to clean and prevent this. The neighbouring rooms made a lot of noise when they returned at midnight then continued to make noise for another hr. The accommodation at the end of the car park had flood lights on all night which came in through the window in our room since the curtain barely covered the width of the window. The curtain pole needs to be longer. We ate at the bar as we were hungry but regretted it. The burger was ok, but massively over priced for the quality of the food received.

Room ice cold when arrived. Took a whole evening to heat up. Sitting with coats on in the room. Heating could have been switched on to make it warm and welcoming. We stayed three nights. No one came to make beds, take out rubbish, replenish coffee/milk, hand out clean mugs/glasses. However, if you asked, which we did, it was done by super friendly staff. I feel for the price, these small touches should be included, not just for retaining customers, but to compete with others who are doing this! Because of this I won’t stay again.

Ideal for exploring North Norfolk and staff were helpful and tried to help if you had any queries.

Location is perfect for taking advantage of Burnham Market. The room was comfy and did the job.

If you are in room 1 or2 be aware that at night the cellar extractor fan is periodically on. If you are a light sleeper maybe chose another room.

Beds were only small width singles so too narrow for adults, strange seeing as the room was spacious. Shower cubicle also very small Didn’t sleep well due to very noisy extraction fan adjacent to our room ( no 5 ) on outer wall of pub which was running all night

Clean; good mattress; large bathroom. Lovely dinner. Great location.

Hotel’s website clearly states all rooms had super fast WiFi - none did. When staff were made aware of this they were defensive & quite rude. Apologise & offer some free drinks! The accommodation was basically in the car park with cars parked a few feet away - meant it was quite noisy late at night. Room was stuffy but if you wanted windows open there were only large main windows to open straight onto the car park which made you feel your room was very insecure - why on earth weren’t smaller windows put in at the top which could be opened without compromising security? Shower not hot - water temperature tepid at best.
