B&B Villa Giovanna

The host Emanuele was extremely welcoming and helpful, he gave us tips about what places to visit, and he was always there when needed. The house is pretty and comfortable, as are the rooms. It was all very clean. The location is not central (you need a car to get around), but it is very calm and there is a big free parking lot within the property. You can walk to the nearest beach but on a very hot day it may be a little too far. To get to Giardini Naxos you definitely need a car. We really liked what was served for breakfast, the local jam and walnuts, and the juices were delicious.

It was a bit difficult to decide the night before what to order for breakfast the following day (instead of a buffet you order beforehand what you want).

Die Villa mit dem grossen Garten ist wunderschön. Die Zimmer sind sehr gross und mit Balkon. Das Frühstück war auch gut, man konnte bis am Abend zu vor über ein Online-Menu aussuchen was man haben wollte. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, es wurde ganz gut englisch gesprochen und uns wurden sogar Tipps und Empfehlungen für die Umgebung gegeben.

Die Villa liegt sehr stark ausserhalb, wenn man nur mit dem öffentlichen Verkehr unterwegs ist, ist es etwas mühsam bei grosser Hitze, da man knapp 30min zur Bushaltestelle Giardini Naxos läuft. Dafür ist der Strand nicht weit. Leider fiel die Klimaanlage ab der 2. Nacht aus, wir konnten sie zwar anmachen, die Temperatur blieb aber konstant bei 30 Grad.

10/10 – A Wonderful Hotel A beautiful, private boutique hotel set within its own enclosed garden, run by Mr. Francesco and his sons. They are all incredibly friendly, welcoming and hospitable. Mr. Francesco takes personal care of every guest, helping with everything from restaurant recommendations and beaches to places to visit and even reservations. From the cleanliness and breakfast to transportation and genuine hospitality, everything deserves the highest score. If I return to Naxos, I will definitely stay here again. Thank you to the Salomone family for their wonderful hospitality!
