The apartment is a great choice for a someone visiting DC on business. It's very clean. The bed is quite comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. The neighborhood is "good" for DC if a little rough around the edges. The apartment owners reliably respond within a few hours to messages. Checking out of the apartment requires that you take out the trash and put the dishes in the sink. Seems reasonable.

The apartment uses a dehumidifier that is fairly loud. This didn't bother me but it may bother others. There are panhandlers and other sketchy folk nearby on 7th street which you'll have to walk to if you're using the Metro. You will have to provide your ID to them to use the apartment. Booking.com already has your personal info but the apartment owners insist you provide it to them as well. If privacy is important to you, you may wish to look elsewhere. The owners use an automated service to manage your rental. So, there is a lot of information to digest and some of the annoying marketing feints that you'd expect from a business and not an individual. The wifi in the apartment was usually ok but sometimes problematic: at times it would become very slow and, at one point, disconnected me altogether. I restarted the router but it did not improve the situation.
