Neem Aura Home Stay

The Host prepared a very nice breakfast for us with fresh juices, Sri Lankan pancakes, eggs etc. It was very practical for us that the hotel is so close to the airport as we had to stay for a night and continue our journey right the next morning. Super clean and big spacious family rooms. Very welcoming and supportive host. He even stopped on the way from the airport to get us some nice Sri Lankan snacks. Big Thank you!!!!

Don was an excellent, one-man hosting machine. Transfer driver, reception, Chef, house keeping, we very much appreciated the work he put in and it showed. Rooms were spotless and the breakfast was delicious and well presented on the two mornings we attended. We requested a Sri Lankan breakfast and Don did not disappoint. Would definately recommend for anyone looking at a stay close to the airport and the one-way transfer offered is a huge PLUS! We (3 adults) stayed in the family apartment. The sitting area was great to sit and chat before bedtime. If I could give a 20 star rating I would. This is because the actual host is exceptional in his hospitality, helpfulness, tailored sightseeing advice, coordination of additional experiences, sharing history and culture, and topping it all with 5 star restaurant quality breakfasts with traditional Sri Lankan curries, fresh fruits, crepes, juice, and more. Arriving on a late flight, I was picked up from the airport by the host. The trip to the homestay is only a few minutes, and the house itself is well appointed, with large rooms, comfortable beds, and a mix of Italian and traditional interior design. I felt extremely welcomed, looked after, and safe as an older woman travelling alone. The area is authentically Sri Lankan, down some lanes off the main highway, but an easy walk to shops, with easy access to very affordable tuk tuk travel options for beach, market and shopping options. I would stay again in a heartbeat and highly recommend Neem Aura Homestay for all of the above reasons.
