Fenetre trop petite, pas de climatisation et l emplacement dans la zone commercial est un peu dommage.

Le calme et la propreté de la chambre ainsi que l'accueil.

I can't really review the La Porte Angevine as I never got to stay there. Having booked 2 rooms for one Saturday night in July '25 we arrived at 15:45 to find the hotel, restaurant and bar all closed with apparently no one on site. However, the hotel had informed me that check in closed at 15:00. I had seen this a day prior and messaged the hotel to say I would not be arriving till around 16:00. I received a reply which was simply... You have a new message from La Porte Angevine Here's what they had to say: Refusé We did try to get there before 15:00 but it wasn't possible with traffic and the distance we had to travel. So, it's my own fault. The hotel made it clear the reception shuts at 15:00 and I arrived an hour late. Finally, the hotel marked me as a no show but have waived all charges. In case you're wondering, what did we do? Did we find alternative accomodation? No, there was none to be found. We carried on to Caen and got the night ferry back to Portsmouth.

The only thing I will say is, what modern day hotel shuts and locks its doors at 15:00? Surely there are always people like me who can't make that deadline or get delayed through no fault of their own.
