The Nest by Batemans Bay

Disabled access was inhibited by the loose stones on path to back doors. It needs compacted crushed rock or paving at least!

Plenty of room, clean and beautifully decorated. It had everything we needed for our stay.

The bunk room needs blinds. We had to use towels to help block out the light

Spacious house with plenty of bathrooms. Location handy for accessing beaches/ mountain bike trails - probably need to drive. Nice outdoor area to sit and relax.

The outdoor area wasn’t clean on arrival we had to clean it, some of the glassware had to be re washed as well. The bunk room reads as double bunk - this is a bottom double bed with a single above which wasn’t clear. There was also no blinds in that room either so wouldn’t be good for kids. Some relaxed lighting would give a better ambiance.

We had a fantastic stay at The Nest by Batesman Bay in June 2025 with a group of 10 people. The property is ideally located—peaceful and quiet, yet just a short drive to the local marketplace, which made everything super convenient. The house itself is beautifully decorated, with a warm and welcoming feel throughout. The couches and beds were incredibly comfortable, making it easy to relax and unwind. One of the highlights was the spacious dining area with a large table, perfect for group meals and board games. And the pool table was an absolute hit—it added so much fun to our evening! We would absolutely recommend The Nest to anyone looking for a comfortable, stylish, and peaceful getaway near Batesman Bay. It’s a wonderful space for families or groups of friends to connect and relax. The host was really nice and considerate.

If we had to mention anything that could be improved, it would just be the addition of a few small kitchen essentials like a kitchen roll and some cleaning cloths. But honestly, this was a very minor detail in an otherwise flawless stay.
