Coastal Luxe Escape - Brand New Home by the Bay!

Location was very good. We did not get to explore as much as we would have liked, because our time was taken up with family matters, which was the reason for our trip. The house itself was lovely, decorated very tastefully. The linen, towels, coffee, toilet paper etc supplied was very much appreciated. We found on arrival the property to be very well presented, and very clean.

The only thing that could have been better were the beds. The main bed was quite uncomfortable as was the sofa bed. The 2 other beds were quite noisy when people moved in them. The only other point of disappointment was that my husband dropped something between the lounge cushions and when he lifted one to retrieve it he found that it was extremely dirty underneath from previous guests.

The house was clean and comfortable, they had great facilities to use for example Netflix, there was basic groceries in the pantry and cold water in the fridge. It was close to the shops to get supplies and not far from our friends house for visiting.

The body was container in the shower was empty.

Convenient location

From the moment we walked in we noticed the place had not been cleaned. Sheets and pillowcases filthy dirty and stunk. Dust everywhere, Floors dirty, dirty dishes in dishwasher, condom box left in draws, mouldy shower, old sheets . Garden not weeded or mowed. Used toothbrush left on bedside table. Contacted owner, who offered a deep clean, said the video from cleaners looked fine. We refused clean as was inconvenient to us and should have been done for our arrival. We had cleaned floors ourselves and wipes benches etc. changed sheets . Owner the offered a partial refund to keep her 5 star review. Which we have not received or had contact since 12/3 .
