Spacious Apartment for Teams & Families with Balcony, Fast WiFi Near Center

We spent several days in the apartment during a business trip and were very satisfied with our stay. The apartment is spacious, comfortable and thanks to the separate bedrooms, everyone had plenty of privacy, making it an excellent choice for work teams and our colleagues traveling together. Check-in was smooth and hassle-free, with clear instructions provided in advance. The keyless entry using a PIN code was especially convenient, we didn’t have to worry about carrying or handing over keys. The apartment was spotlessly clean and well prepared. The small welcome surprise made a great first impression. Communication with the host was excellent. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, allowing us to handle online meetings and remote work without any issues. We regularly have business meetings in Bratislava, and we will definitely be happy to stay here again during our next visit. We highly recommend this apartment.

Tastefully redecorated and comfortable apartment on the 4th floor (5th floor for Americans) within several large apartment blocks in the suburbs a short walk from public transport and a large supermarket. Also nearby are open-air markets with some excellent restaurants. A complimentary bottle of wine was nice.

Unfortunately there were a few problems: - First and foremost was key pickup. The listing did say that key pickup was elsewhere but it said that it was a "9 minute walk" from the apartment. This is wrong - it was a 24 minute walk and Google Maps confirms this. Not good with a family in tow all with luggage. - When asked if the key pickup process could be improved the owner said that his customers appreciate flexible check-in times. All hotels, apartments, flats etc. have to provide flexible check-in times - the customer arrives when the customer arrives! That has nothing to do with where the keys are. - Even if you have a car there is nowhere to park when picking up the keys. Key pickup is terribly inconvenient. - A message from the owner said that two sets of keys would be in the envelope but only one was. When asked if he could drop the other set in he originally said that we would have to return to the pickup place (a 48 minute round trip) to collect them ourselves. After pointing out that a mistake on his part shouldn't mean inconvenience on our part, he subsequently delivered them. - The listing says in big letters 3 BEDROOM APARTMENT followed by "1 living room and 3 separate bedrooms". This is WRONG. A fold-up bed in the living room is NOT a bedroom let alone a separate bedroom. There are only two bedrooms. The listing is deceptively misleading and needs to be corrected. 2 bedrooms only. - The listing says "Upstairs floors accessible by stairs only" but doesn't say that the apartment is on an upper floor. It's up 91 steps (4½ storeys). Absolutely terrible with luggage. There is no lift. The listing must be updated to say that there are many stairs before you reach the apartment. - There is no TV (but none was listed either). - The cutlery is cheap thin camping cutlery and bends when you use it. - A decorative electric fireplace features heavily in the listing but we couldn't get it to work.
