we liked the room itself and the location along with the amenities.
we spent hours trying to check in. It appeared as though the front desk could not process our room deposit. Front desk told us it was a system issue however we saw another person get checked in. they told us that the room was ready, but they could not process. waited approximately four hours to get keys. still have not received our 250 deposit back. I called the Alexander a couple of times and got different information from different people.
