This hosteloffers an exceptional atmosphere. There was more than enough space in a single room for the four of us. We were traveling with our two daughters, aged 10 and 12, but the hotel asked us to book two rooms. Ultimately, it was well worth it, as the girls felt like princesses thanks to the rooms' unique decor—which notably included a charming little reading nook. The staff was wonderful. They met us at the train station and helped us make our way to the hotel. The station was a bit chaotic, but when one of our bags was accidentally left behind in a tuk-tuk, the hostel team managed to track it down while we were out visiting the fort and *havelis* of Jaisalmer. We also booked a desert experience through the hotel. Our driver served as our cook and guide as well; he was incredibly polite, attentive, and took excellent care of us. After about a 90-minute drive, we took a one-hour camel ride to reach our campsite. The camel ride was a very pleasant and unique experience; the camels are led by guides, so all you have to do is sit back and enjoy the journey. We opted for the "local experience under the stars," and that is exactly what we got. No tents, no lights anywhere nearby—just the desert and the starry sky. An incredible experience for the whole family! I highly recommend music City hostel.

Wow, what a stay! Hasim, our host, went above and beyond—by far the best service we experienced in India. Communication was excellent, the vibe was warm and welcoming, and he truly cared about our comfort. He arranged a late-night pickup from the station and personally dropped us off even later when we left. Attentive, thoughtful, and genuinely kind. The room itself was incredible—such amazing value! Like most places in the area, they also offer desert safari tours, but that doesn’t take away from how great the accommodation is. We chose the overnight desert tour with them and it was exactly what we hoped for: a small group (just 6 of us), a short camel ride, dinner cooked on the fire by the camel men, and sleeping under the stars on remote dunes. Simple, quiet, and unforgettable—the perfect vibe. Prices are fair and competitive, but what stood out is that there was no pushiness at all. They’re upfront about what you should expect to pay, and if their tour doesn’t suit you, they’re happy to recommend other operators with different styles. All in all, we highly recommend this stay!
