The Number 41

We had a wonderful stay at Villa 41 and would highly recommend it, especially for families visiting Mauritius during the winter months. Mario was an outstanding host — attentive, helpful, and always available when we needed anything. From arrival to departure, everything felt smooth and well looked after. The location is excellent. Being on the west coast meant far less wind and noticeably warmer weather than other parts of the island at this time of year. It was ideal for relaxing days and made a real difference for the whole family. The pool was a highlight for the children — comfortably warm, clean, and a great place to spend time every day. The villa itself is spacious, comfortable, and well equipped for a longer family stay, with everything we needed for cooking, dining, and unwinding after day trips. We also appreciated the peaceful setting, easy parking, and convenient access to local shops, restaurants, and the main sights around Black River and Tamarin. It struck a perfect balance between quiet privacy and practical location. Thank you, Mario — we left with great memories and would happily stay again.

Loverly hosts, who provided a privileged access to their family home, where every room and objects has been curated to craft a harmonious and easy living environment. The house is located in a gated community, walking distance to beach, supermarket and restaurants.
