It was a very last minute booking because our actual stay had issues. The owner of this place was very friendly, gave us helpful info and answered all our queries patiently. Due to last minute booking, he only had 1 room with bunk bed for 2 pax. We booked it. It was a comfortable stay. Toilet was well equipped. Kitchen also had the utensils and it was very useful for us to cook a simple meal. Good location too. We gladly suggest to others.

Nice Staff! Not in city of Reykjavik, about 1 hr by bus, good airport transport, town is very nice. Single room small but comfortable and really clean. Self entry and exit, few restaurants around. If you are looking to be in this area without any frills then I could recommend. No coffee in morning, bring your own.

No arrival instructions sent at time of booking. Arrived and was stuck outside with no way to get in as we were not provided with any entry code. We rang the doorbell multiple times and no one answered. After a long, frustrating day of travel the last thing you want is to be stuck outside your hotel!! No one ever came to let us in, I had to go next door to the other hotel to borrow someone's phone to call. Finally some random person (another traveler) happened to let us inside the building after my partner knocked on a random window. 5 hours after checking out, I received an email with what was supposed to be our entry code. Would have been nice to receive that information when we checked IN! Timely communication is incredibly important and this hostel fell very short of that. Very Disappointing experience.
