Modern Luxury in Del Ray 10 min to DC & Old Town

Location, location, location! I have stayed in many places in Alexandria, both in Old Town and farther west, but I love being just off Mt. Vernon Avenue, with all its wonderful restaurants and shops. This apartment was so spacious and comfortable it was perfect for our group of 4.

Everything was great.

We had unit A (ground floor and basement). Newly renovated, exceptionally clean and specially kitted for long-term stays (everything from a fully equipped kitchen to baby furniture to a clothing steamer) in a safe/desirable neighborhood. Basement had an excellent entertainment area (several large couches with oversized TV, a treadmill and Peloton with workout station, a pool table and a small sauna). Host's communication was outstanding. Smart lock made check-in a breeze. Air conditioning was excellent. Location is within a few hundred meters of several excellent restaurants and an Aldi grocery store and bus stops. Within a half-mile walk is the Metro station and numerous other outstanding restaurants. The dedicated driveway is sufficient for two cars (though there was always street parking available). Highly recommend for a family visiting the DC area for more than a few days.
