0064 Villa Abiar

The villa is well located in a scenic and quiet area. The rooms at the pool level and above are very good, the furniture and fixings are very nice, the kitchen is well equipped. The lower area is not to the same standard at all.

There were minor and very major items to comment on. Minor - no instructions for the hob, problems with taps, housekeeping came once after only 4 days of the 14 and never came again. The garden was untidy with many fallen leaves under a tree that was covered in ants. The driveway gate did not work. Major - the pool was really quite unusable, green and with algae growing on the floor and steps. Reported the first day and every day after, and it was a week before a pool man came, then it took 4 days and 4 visits before it was clear. There are many broken tiles around the high water level, and some fell off during use. There are photos to prove the condition I wish I could attach them. The pool was a prime reason for choosing this villa for the grandchildren.
