The Skoolie is 27' long & full of character! The kids will have a blast while you make lunch in the full kitchen that's equipped with a fridge, oven, 2-top burner, & microwave. If you prefer the grill over the kitchen, you can find it outside overlooking the lake. A juicy burger is a great complement to the perfect day.
When you've had your feel of star gazing & you're ready to retire for the night, you can take your pick inside between the Queen and the full size Futon bed.

When you arrive you will find a guide book on all things Skoolies! How to work the AC/Heat, where all the extra things you might need are, coffee (a must) and more! The bus is stocked with all your basic essentials, towels, bed linens, extra blankets, soap, shampoo, toothpaste, pots, pans, salt, pepper, oil, ketchup, mayo, mustard, Keurig, K-cups, grilling utensils and more!
Kiddos can bring their bikes too! Plenty of space to ride bikes!
The property only has room for 2 cars. We ask that if you have more than 2 cars you meet up and carpool.

The bus is located about 20 minutes from Centre, AL. Where you will find shopping, restaurants, Walmart, and more!

Indian Mountain ATV Park is one of the largest off-road parks in North East Alabama with 4,700 acres of heaven nestled in the Appalachian Mountain range. Scenic overlooks as far as the eye can see. We offer OHV trail riding, camping, fishing, and hiking. We have fun for the whole family!

Water Levels:
Every year beginning in September, Alabama Power will lower the water levels by 2 feet per month through the end of December. Water levels will vary dependent upon drainage and rain fall.
Every year from January through April, Alabama Power will increase the water levels 2 feet per month, with the peak being on May 1st of each year. Water levels will vary dependent upon rain fall the speed at which the water is released from the dam.
Note** if there are any issues during your stay, they MUST be brought up to us prior to checkout. Failure to do this results in forfeiture of any refunds or compensation for issues that may arise.
Overhead air unit is inoperable for the time being. We have added a window air unit to keep you cool during your stay 🙂

The amenities were amazing. The skoolie was so beautiful and relaxing. But most of all, the host was super sweet and very accommodating! Definitely what was needed for a restful and relaxing weekend with the hubs!

The skoolie was such a fun place to stay! We enjoyed feeling like we were camping but also having a few more luxuries than we would have while camping, and Lake Weiss was beautiful! The dock was perfect for watching sunsets or water birds, and the location was quiet and serene!

We loved sitting ouside, it was beautiful, however the inside was not much to talk about.The air unit didn't work so they had a window unit. In one of the picture it shows a white fridge, and a stove, that didn't exist. It does not sleep 3 comfortably, the couch bed was horrible if you had to sleep on it. It only had a hot plate to cook on and 1 pan and you had to cook outside,it did have a good toaster oven in it that cooked my biscuits really well. When we first walked in we thought we were in the wrong bus. It really smelled like sewage. I guess I was expecting something elese. If you like camping you would really like it. The bus door wasn't even locked and couldn't be locked so you had to be in there at night without being locked in. The neighbors were really close. Sorry to say we want be going back, but we will always have some memories to share and laugh about .
