The hotel is modern and new and very clean and in a great central location. Bed is very comfortable and the front desk staff very pleasant and helpful.
It does not have a restaurant or bar area but I am told that in the next 3 months it will be added on with the building next to it. If you are a light sleeper the street and train noise could keep you up long into the night but it was not a problem for me. Also, the hallways are extremely thin walled and you can hear everyone walking by and opening and closing doors. I had a very nice stay all together. The thing that bothered me the most is that I did not get the room I paid for as promised. I paid for a junior suite, with living room, separate bedroom and an outdoor dinning area. When I arrived I was given a standard room. When I asked, I was told that would be an upgrade...even though I paid for the Junior suite and the hotel was completely empty for the first 5 nights I was there and the remaining two nights I maybe heard 3 people.

Clean and comfortable.
Amazing location
The room was on the smaller side so is comfortable for a night or two but no more.
This is clear in the pictures though, so be mindful of it.

The hotel has a very new fresh vibe in the heart of the historical center of the city, which makes it perfect to enjoy the Bohemian vibe of the town. I really liked the color choices used in the premises. The staff was nice and helpful.
1.- When we arrived we couldn't get the room that we initially ordered as the shower had an issue, so we were moved from a room with balcony, to one with terrace. This ended up being not an issue as we avoided climbing stairs with the heavy suitcases.
2.- The toilet seat had issues on the gluing with the floor and the water leaked, initially we thought it was clean water, but after cleaning it with tissue we noticed it was far from it. Generally didn't leak a lot, but it started accumulating and smelling a little bit by the end of our stay.

The staff was my favorite part. Daphne and Brenda took great care of us anytime we had questions or needed something. The location was also good - a 5 minute walk to the nearest plaza and lots of food options nearby.
My only issue was not with the hotel but rather with bookings.com. We had booked two junior suites - one of my husband and me, one for my senior mom, and then added a third room when my cousin joined us. After the first night we ended up upgrading our junior suite to a larger (more expensive) room to be closer to mom's room since she needed some assistance. Unfortunately there was a family emergency back home so we had to vacate 1 out of the 3 rooms earlier than expected. The hotel told us we could get a partial refund for the room that we had paid for but had to leave early... But Bookings.com never did approve the refund. Considering we not only ended up adding an extra room for the cousin who joined us, but also upgraded to a larger room, we would have hoped to get some credit for the 3 nights one of the rooms was paid for but unused.
The hotel staff kept apologizing to us for Booking.com not issuing the refund for the unforseen family emergency, even though it was totally not their fault.

Hotel is in a great location.
I would have like to have a few more pieces of furniture in the room, like a small table and chair.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Casa Yága! This beautifully renovated casona combines charm and modern comfort perfectly. My room was exceptionally comfortable, featuring a large rain shower that was a true delight after a long day put visiting the city. The bed and linens were so cozy, ensuring a restful night's sleep, and the thoughtful selection of toiletries added a lovely touch to the experience. What really made my stay special, though, was the warm welcome I received from J.C. He is such a personable and attentive host, making me feel right at home not only in Casa Yága but also in Querétaro. His hospitality truly stood out, and I can't wait to return! Highly recommended!
